Roll on / Roll off

Provided that your boat does not exceed the size restrictions for RO/RO shipping , RO/RO service is the most common and also the most recommended way to ship your boat overseas.  Boats on trailers, are actually towed onto the ship by way of the ship’s ramp where they are stowed inside the belly of the ship and are securely lashed to the deck.   Upon arrival at the port of destination, the boat is simply towed off the ship.

Float on / Float off Shipping

For large Yachts, this is done by partly submerging the steamship.  The cargo is then floated over the cargo deck and when in proper position for loading, the water is pumped out, leaving the cargo on deck.

Flat Rack Shipping

For oversized boats, depending on the destination port, Flat Rack shipping is possible. The boat is placed on a Flat rack, which is then strapped and secured to the ship. 

Shrink wrapping is highly recommended in order to help protect the boat from damage and from the elements.
